HELP!!!


I just ran 3Dmark advantage on my new i7 920 system and got a scores of 11309.

CPU score was 38825
Graphics was: 9148


I did some checks on futuremark's site and most people are getting graphic scores in the 20K's with GTX 260's. DO you think the video card is under performing?

Ive only really played left for dead and WoW on this thing. L4D seemed to run smooth. WoW drops to 30 FPS in Dlaarn with every thing maxed out.

They have heavy Overclocks on their CPU and GPU. I had a GTX 260 for a week before it started failing and i sent it in for a 4870. But My buddy has a new i7 920 OCed to 3.8 GHz and we stuck my GTX 260 in there with an OC on it and it scored 18K+.

To get those scores you need to OC.

Who cares about benchmarks anyways, unless they are the actual game benchmarks. 3Dmark is not a real good test of how your system will handle games.
