CORSAIR CMPSU-400CX 400W

Western Digital Caviar 320Gb

GIGABYTE GZ-X2BPD-500 Black

Hanns·G JW-197DPB Black 19"

Grand Total: $526.90

I have a topic going in the PSU section about the build. I'm not sure if the PSU will handle this under FULL load.

What is the max budget and the intended use of the computer? You'd be much better off going with a current chipset motherboard and CPU. Something like this:

ASUS P5QL PRO LGA 775 Intel P43 ATX Intel Motherboard - Retail
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131329 $86.99

Intel Pentium E5200 Wolfdale 2.5GHz 2MB L2 Cache LGA 775 65W Dual-Core Processor - Retail
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819116072 $82.99

You should also look for a SATA DVD burner instead of IDE.

LG Black 22X (CAV) DVD+R 8X DVD+RW 16X DVD+R DL 22X (CAV) DVD-R 6X DVD-RW 12X DVD-RAM 16X DVD-ROM 48X CD-R 32X CD-RW 48X CD-ROM 2MB Cache SATA 22X DVD±R DVD Burner - OEM
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16827136152 $22.99

You can save $5 on the HD by buying it here:

WESTERN DIGITAL WD3200AAKS 320GB SATA 7200 RPM 16MB Hard Drive Bulk
http://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp/ProductDetail.jsp?ProductCode=10005615&prodlist=celebros $49.99

Edit: That PSU will easily power this build at full load.

He's trying to get me to keep it as close to $500 as I can. I would like to go with the newer chipsets, but it's kinda hard, especially since I HAVE to get that video card.

Edit: Thanks for the OD, I'll use that one instead of the Lite-On
