How much of a difference will adding 2GB RAM make

I have a q6600. XFX 780i, Zotac GTX 260 and 2GB RAM (1066). How much of a difference will adding 2GB more ram make, will gaming be better?

To keep it simple: if your running Vista than yes, if XP than no.

It depends more on the type of Vista/XP then if its just XP or Vista? Are you running 32 bit or 64 bit? I assume your running 32 bit becuase 2GB would be extremely low for a 64 bit system. In that case you could add 1gig of ram, you'll see an increase, but the OS won't even be able to use 4 gigs.

XP (32-bit version) would run 2~3ish GB of ram at most. Vista (64-bit version) will go up to 12 GB of ram... not that you really need more than 6 or 8 GB.
