Help with my new rig

hi,

i'm building a new pc to replace my old one (amd x2 4400, 2gb ddr, x1900xt). i was wondering if i should buy an aftermarket cooler to increase the performance? (planning to play games at 1600x1050) is this build has room for good oc? thank you for your help

Buy an aftermarket cooler if you'd like to overclock, I recommend the big one from Xigmatek.

Can probably get enough out of your E8400 with the stock cooler, but if you wish to get to 4.0 you'll definitely need an aftermarket cooler.

At your resolution I don't think you'll need much more than 3.2CPU, the 4870 is a great card.
