I currently have a E6400 on a P5B MB with 2GB Patriot DDR2 PC2-5300 (667MHz), running XP.

I would like to make a few upgrades to my system.

Can I just put a E8500 in? (Is my memory fast enough?)

I see that the Asus MB supports that CPU with their latest BIOS.

Any other issues? Do I need to change the BIOS settings or is it all automatic? (I see that the FSB is faster on the E8500).

I also plan to upgrade my GPU from a 7950GT to a 4870.
