AMD x2 driver + vista

After getting into a one sided debate about $500 gaming system...
Plus reading above how drivers can make a difference.
..Started digging around my Device manager was amazed to see that
*** Amd Athlon X2 5600
*** Microsoft 6/21/06
*** 6.0.6001.18000
--- Went looking for an update ---
'Cuase dang could my CPU run better with something a little more updated the 3 years old????
My ATI card gets more updates
I couldn't find any information on this or any update by Microsoft, amd or acer

nope, your second post is not much clearer then the first

old ati cards may not run better with newer updates and infact my run woarse - you need to use the newest update for that card

cpu's do not get updates

ms should be update all the time - make sure it is

mobo bios may work better with an update but in most cases the updates are for newer parts or newer cpu's and updating the bios may be a bad idea with out researching the cpu and mobo
