I just got a brand new computer and everything seems fine but the video card. Its a ATI Radeon HD 4870 X2 its working and the fan is moving but when I play a games like call of duty 2 or call of duty 4 it just gives off BAD FPS worse than my old computer. I've updated drivers have catalyst 8.12 installed but the FPS still isn't good only around 20FPS. Any suggestions or feedback would be greatly appreciated.

I was having a simillar issue , but it turned out to be a temp issue.
I got a VGA block and maximized the settings in the ATI Overdrive.

And the Frame rate was great. Got over 10000 PTS in 3DMARK Vantage.

On the other hand , i am still having an antialiasing issue :S
& cannot get to the bottom of it.
