New windows will not open wdb files

I have a listing that is a *.wdb file - however when I send it to other folks, they cannot open it. WHY NOT?

Please help! It's done with Microsoft Works 7....I think???

Don't you love Microsoft apps that use special file formats

Not even Microsoft Access will open it! You MUST open it in Microsoft Works and export it in another format such as CVS or DBF.

Ok, I was afraid of that. Thanks for writing me back. Yep, wish everything was uniform....standards....that would be nice....
