I want to replace the video card in my 3 yr old dell xps420 w/ pentium D 3gz. the current card is ati x600 256 hyper-memory pci express. I tried bioshock and it would not run at all ..... fear runs acceptable. I have been reading the posts and think a 4670 would work fine for my old system, without adding a new PSU. Not sure about a 8800gt. Interested in what you think.

I have an old sony 21" crt and do not plan on replacing it unless it dies. I run the settings @ 1024x768.

I'd probably get a HD4670, it's more than enough for that resolution.
