Prime 95 and hdd issues?

What is a good test to see if my hard drive is functioning correctly, I can play games for hours at low temps and good smooth gameplay, however when I try to run prime 95 after like 10-15 minutes my system shuts down and restarts, this only seems to happen with prime 95, and I can run intel burn in test, 3dmark vantage plus other benchmarks with no problems, and the reason I think it may be the hdd is that every other component has been tested, any and all feedback is greatly appreciated, thanks ps it's a velociraptor 300gb hdd

If the hdd was faulty, it wouldn't choose one particular game, all system operations would suffer, you wouldn't be able to play other games for hours.
