Hey, I have a few questions about this card since im going to probably buy it from Newegg in like 30 minutes.

A few questions i have on this card though, Since i heard the 4850x2 2GB beats the a Geforce 9800GX2.

The GX2 comes new for $250 while im buying the 4850x2 for $230 (Open Box) along with the DVI converter. Ill be up updating the drivers via Internet.

I heard the card is 11.5 inches, as for the Gx2 its 10.5 which a both pretty long. Since i have a Antec 900 case, would these two cards fit?

Should i go for the 4850x2 or the 9800 GX2?

I was planning on doing crossfire in a few months when i by a second 4850x2. It can crossfire right? lols. Im pretty much a noob at computers.

Two 4850 (Crossfire or x2) decimates a 9800GX2. A single 4850 is equivalent to a 9800GTX. A 9800GX2 is similar to SLing two 9800GTs.

So Two 9800GTX > Two 9800GT

The GX2 has driver issues and can render AA very well in some games (such as Crysis). It's line has also been discontinued.

So i should go for the 4850x2? I found out i was a few hours late and they removed the open box. Now the only 4850x2 left is the unopened one which is $299.

Should i save up a little more or should i just get the GX2?

I don't know why but i like the 4850x2 more, not only because its good, but how it visually looks.

Can you get two 4850s and crossfire them?
