My system is:

Case: Lian Li PC-V1000 Plus
Motherboard: Asus A8N-SLI Deluxe
Power Supply: Thermaltake Toughpower 1000W
Processor: AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 4400+
Processor Fan: ZALMAN 9500A 92mm 2 Ball CPU Cooler
Graphics Card: BFG Nvidia GeForce 9800 GTX 512MB GDDR3
Memory: CORSAIR XMS 4G 184-Pin DDR SDRAM DDR 400 (PC 3200)
Hard Drives: WD360 Raptor 40G, 2x WD2000 200G drives (raid setup?)
Sound Card: SoundBlaster X-Fi Xtreme Fidelity Sound Card

So there you have it, other than the processor fan, everything else is stock.
Any way i can upgrade this system without replacing everything and can i overclock it without burning it?
As you can guess my budget isnt such that i can just build myself a new system atm, but i can stay within a range of $200

The 4400+ is most likely bottlenecking the 9800GTX. I see that you have a 939 board, those CPU's are discontinued (i think). You need to get a better board preferebly with AM2/AM2+. The DDR Ram is slower than DDR2 Ram and is double the price. You can get a combo like this and stick everthing else in it , sound cards, fans, PSU, Graphics etc.

Biostar 790GX HDMI, AM2/AM2+ Board :http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813138130

AMD Athlon 64 X2 7750 Kuma 2.7GHz :http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819103300

Good Luck!!
