Looks like you got a Bad HardDrive. Clicking noises from your HDD is not a good sign. It must be a Failed HDD. Just send it back and you'll get a new one.
thanks joelg88 thats what i figured, also is it normal for a 1tb hhd to have 931 gb of space brand new?? and can i reinstall vista or do i have to get new os disk??
