USB Flash Dive: Changing ECC code in pen drive

How can i change the ECC info associated with each page in an usb pen drive.

Is it possible through any software interrupts?

I just want to see the effects of changing ECC data. Now if it blows up my pen drive, i don't mind.

I don't think there is a way to do that unless you purchase a EPROM program machine, yank out the chips and re-flash them. That's assuming the chips used are even capable of being re-written.
