I'm running a ABIT Fatal1ty FP-IN9 SLI motherboard. The problem is that if I put memory in 3 slots (any configuration) Windows won't start. It simply shows the Starting Windows screen and then reboots. (All sticks have passed memtest86+ individually and I've also tested slots 1/3 and 2/4 being filled.)

If I put memory in 4 slots the system won't boot. I just get a very loud beep that lasts until I restart. Again... this happens if I put in 4x2gb or 4x1gb or a mixture of the two.

I've tried increase the voltage.... went all the way to 2.20 and did not notice a difference.

BIOS has been upgraded to the latest.

Any ideas?

You might try to increase the NB voltage, or SPP voltage.

Other than that, you likely have incompatible memory modules for your motherboard.
