RAID1/software RAID resynch status

Hi guys, built my first computer yesterday

Asus M4A785TD-V EVO
AMD Phenom II 955 BE
2 1TB Samsung HD
G Skill 2x2GB DDR3 1600
XFX 5850
Antec Earthwatts 650 W PSU
all wrapped up in an Antec 300 case running Win7 pro 64bit.

Anyway everything was setup and was running beautifully yesterday on 1 of the 1TB HDs. I decided to use disk management's mirror feature to mirror the second drive (software RAID1, I guess). Anyway couple questions now is

1. when I check the disk management, there are 2 yellow triangle caution signs next to each disk, is that normal?
2. what does "resynching (Boot, Page File, Crash Dump)" mean?
3. how long will this process take approximately?
4. Should I be noticing programs taking a little longer to open up than usual during the resynch process? I would guess that it's because the disks are resynching?

My google-fu has failed me, and the closest answers I've seen have been on Tomshardware forums, so I thought I'd go straight to the source. Also if this has been answered in another thread, please re-direct me.

How long was the process running before your post? Once completed, everything should be back to normal.

well I ran it for 1 hr last night, turned off my coputer. then ran it for 2 hrs since i posted my questions.

Why did you turn off the computer before the process was completed? You didn't get a warning? Be patient as it should eventually complete. What is the completion percentage and is it progressing?

I forgot it was resynching and turned off the computer when I went to bed. I don't remember a warning.
Here's what it looks like now.
I'm not getting a percentage or any indication of progress... I think it looked like this after I first created the mirror.

It's still running as of right now, and I haven't turned off my computer again.

so i went to disk management, selected my drive, and clicked the "refresh" button and now it says" Resynching (67%) (Boot, Page File, Crash Dump)" understatus. I'll refresh it in a bit and see if the progress increases. If it does, I'm guessing it's a good sign...
Crossing my fingers.

*update 2 min later* it's now at 69%. I'll wait and see what happens after 100%.

*update #2* resynch finished. guess I just needed to refresh the drive and wait until 100%. Cheers, thanks for the help.
