Overclocking with Nvidia Optimus laptops?

I'm looking at buying this

I'm looking at the specs and seeing a GT 325, with DDR3 memory. I know that the GT 335 is quite a bit faster. But the only difference between the two is that the GT 335 is overclocked 300 MHz. Is it possible to overclock the GT 325, even though it's Optimus enabled? Because I'd like to turn it into a GT 335

  1. Overclocking is not usually possible on a laptop and never recommended as cooling is poor and the power supply is not designed for it.
  2. Well I guess that solves it.
I couldn't find very many benchies for the GT 325m, do you think it will run CoH well?
  3. i suppose the GT325m will run it quite well under the fact that it is and will always be a notebook GPU ;)

You can compare the scores to a variety of benchmarks and games between the 325 and 335.
