SD Card Write-Protected

Hello,
I am trying to put pictures from my computer on to the card so i can put it in my phone, but i keep getting it is write protected and i trying sliding the card away from locked but that does not work any help?

There should be a tab on it that you can move all the way over to the unlocked position. If you cannot do that, it's probably a bad card.
