Computer not recognizing hard drive

so I recently screwed up my processor and broke some pins. I had to replace it with a slightly slower but still pentium 4 processor.
The processor IS compatible with the motherboard.
Well everything was fine until I tried to boot the computer. for whatever reason it says the hard drive is not installed and I have no idea what to do.
I've been using the hard drive in my other computer and everything and it works fine. any ideas as to what the problem could be?

  1. I'm guessing you disconnected something when you replaced the CPU, check and replace the cables to the drive.
