Windows Picture and Fax Viewer file selection

Go to window explorer and the photos folder, arrange photos in whatever manner you like by Sorting. Restart slide show.

Right click blank space, "Sort by name" "Group by date", or add Date Modified on the columns (e.g.) and sort by that, you can add other columns too.
