Here's what I got so far:

Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3P http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128358

PSU: PC Power & Cooling S75CF 750W http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817341011

GPU: Sapphire Radeon HD 4850 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814102770

RAM: Mushkin 2x2GB DDR2 800 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820146731

Hard Drive: Western Digital Caviar Black WD6401AALS 640GB http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822136319

Optical Drive: ASUS Black 18X DVD-ROM http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16827135176

Case: Antec Three Hundred Black Steel http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811129042

Monitor: Acer X223Wbd Black 22" http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824009145

It comes out to roughly $1000 right now, so I can't spend a whole lot more. I have speakers, keyboard, and a mouse already. Did I miss anything? Any advice, recommendations?

Consider a 45nm processor instead of the 65nm Q6600.
At about the same $$$ you could choose an E8400 for better gaming speed, or a Q8200 quad. I admit this is a nit-pick. You have a solid build there.
