RPC server is unavailable

Hello,
I am trying to connect a new printer to my hp computer and I keep getting RPC server is unavailable. How can I correct this problem

Start - Run - services.msc - Standard Tab - scroll down to the two RPC services, click properties on each one, set to Automatic and then Start. When done with both, close window and retry your install.

Also try a good old reboot ...
