what would be the best hardware and software to get for my computer and update/upgrades to be able to play and handle any games as well as intence heated games. and sizes since most games has there own specifications requirements. but one that can handle all if not 99% of the games out there .. thank you.. my information of my pc is posted on other pages..

Get a massive new heatsink/fan set for the CPU, one rated to cool an AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 6400+ because that CPU dissipates 120Watts, yours, much less so a cooler the 6400+ would be overkill for yours, which is a good thing.

so, this would solve my issues as far as shutting off when i play sims games, i have alot of them.. games on my computer.. the sims games are very intense games do i have everything else right.. i hope.. thank you...

Most modern mainboards now will shut down the computer if the CPU gets too hot. This happens without warning.
I suspect the heavy CPU load of newer games is getting your processor hot, fast.
Don't forget to clean the old paste off the CPU and put new heat-conducting paste back on when you replace the fan/heatsink.

You also might look into your BIOS and see if the trip-point of the CPU temp is adjustable.
