We have a Wireless Net Gear router, 2 Computers, nothing complicated, but my brother gets restricted alot, he cant get online to play red alert 2, it tells him he dosnt have a internet connection, and when we make servers for games (any games)people cannot join them, any questions suggestions? Does this netgear router just suck, I hear linksys is good?

Did you forward the right ports to the ip address of the server?

I dont know what port to foward.

It should tell you in the game when you set up a server which port to forward. If not, sheck the website and forum pages for the games and see what they say.

As well, I assume you know how to set up port forwarding with your router??
