Hey guys, I was just wondering.. Is there any, ANY possible way to lock my multiplier for my Turion RM-70 on my HP G60-125NR laptop? I do a bit of producing, and I'm going to sell my PC.. So I need to be able to do that on this laptop. I noticed it changes from 2.0 GHz to 1.0 GHz dynamically (to save power or some ***) which is the 5x, 10x multiplier switching. Please help! I don't know what else to do :( I can't find anywhere to lock it, and I can't find any programs that would lock it. There's *** for bios options too, seeing as it's a laptop. Thanks!

disable EIST and C1E and put windows power settings into performance mode

That is a Turion not Intel.

Anyway on laptops it is not possible in most cases.

There is no need to lock it. If there is enough load on CPU it increases and when there is no or very little load on CPU it decreases to save power, prolong battery life and decrease heat.
There is no noticable perfomance hit.

At most You loose like 0.01% of perfomance while CPU switches from 5-10 multiplier.

On another note most laptops have poor cooling system and if it will run on full speed all the time there is a chance of overheating.
