1:1 ratio

pardon me for posting duh, don't know where to post this one. CPU or memory. now straight to the point. the question is,when having an FSB and RAM frequency ratio 1:1 does it have any significance to a better performance? do i always have to aim for the 1:1 ratio without OC? for example: QX9770 FSB 1600 and dominator 1600Mhz. i'm just curious...

to get a ratio of 1 to 1 the ram needs to be half the frequency of the FSB from what CPU-z says anyways

so a fsb of 1600 will want 800 mhz ram
