Hey, I'm looking to buy a monitor, but I have no idea what the specs mean. Truthfully I want a quick response that won't kill my eyes if I'm on it for a while. Any suggestions?

I'd go for a 21.5 inch with .248 dot pitch and 5 ms response time. Some of the 22 inch monitors have 2 ms response time, but a higher dot pitch rating. The lower the dot pitch reading, the sharper the image.
