Im going to be running Vista Home premium from Tigerdirect.ca (Cheaper) And a LG 20" Monitor from Future shop (saves on shipping) those two together are about $300, and the budget for the computer it self is about $1,000 give or take

Canadian dollar doesn't seem to be buying much atm

I tried hard to rework your build. Looked at NCIX and Direct Canada. Looks like you have found the best deals.

For your build, you might be tempted to get a 640wd black instead of the 500gig one and for the monitor, there are cheap 22s out there that do the job quite nicely such as this:

For all of your canadian prices, you should doublecheck with www.pricebot.ca since it takes all of 2min and may make you save money.

I.e. 66$@ bestdirect.ca for the hdd instead of 79$ at newegg, 91$ psu instead of 122$, case 65$ instead of 73$, ram 51$ instead of 65$, etc etc.

the folks at bestdirect.ca really have nice prices atm

You'll want to make sure the version of Vista that you buy is 64-bit so you can fully use all 4GB and still have the option of adding more in the future.

Gosh its so hard to get good prices with the canadian dollar it seems lol.
