Hello all!
I just unlocked the 4th core on my Phenom II X3.
CPU-Z detects it as a X4 and the performance is great!
it's overclocked to 3.5Ghz and perfectly stable!

Ever since I unlocked the 4th core I can't seem to monitor the temps.
Speedfan under core it just reads 0 Degrees C.

AMD Overdrive also, it detects all 4 cores.
But all the temps say 0 Degrees.

Any ideas?
I know the temps are not that high because my motherboard also has a CPU temp sensor.
I can see that from AMD OverDrive.

Any Ideas?

Im no expert, but I'm pretty sure that unlocking the extra core is an exchange: An extra core without knowing your temps. I think they talked about it in the SBM June $550 gaming pc

Unlocking it disables the CPU temps. Its a trade-off. A good trade-off but still one. Congrats on free 4th core.
