COOLER MASTER Hyper 212 Plus Intel Core i5 & Intel Core i7 compatible RR-B10-212P-G1 120mm "heatpipe direct contact" Long life sleeve CPU Cooler

OR

Sunbeam CR-CCTF 120 mm Core-Contact Freezer CPU Cooler W/TX-2

If CM then I can get it for $30 on Amazon. Newegg just had more accessible specs.
And then I'd get the ARCTIC COOLING MX-2 Thermal Compound with it. (But not with the Sunbeam.)

Oh and I'm going to assume the rebate isn't gonna happen for the Sunbeam... And price is a factor so don't count the rebate in that.

Thanks guys!

The rebate won't happen, well probably not anyway, so good assumption.

they are both good and comparable temps wise, and the discussion on which on is better has raged for a while.

check out http://www.frostytech.com for temp info on both. I have the cctf, and it's great. The only thing I will say for sure, is the cctf is huge.

I'm still going to contact newegg; apparently a lot of people have had success with that. I have a lot of hope for that actually, though if it takes months and months, I may not bother.

I'll get my $15 back if I have to go to China myself and pry it from their cheap, scamming little fingers.

I sent two rebates to sunbeam, one for the cooler one for a tuniq psu. Didn't get either, tried as hard as possible to contact them, finally did. They said they would send it, but didn't. I tried it again, but same story.

I have the sunbeam CCF. Yes the rebate will not happen. I'm actually in the process of taking sunbeam to small claims court for that $15 rebate. I know it's not much. I'm doing it to teach them a lesson on screwing their customers.

Anyways the Sunbeam CCF isn't bad. I have it and I idle 28-34c depending on room temperature. Load is 45-55c again depending on temperature.

955 BE@3.7ghz btw. 1.4volts.

They have an office in California

SunbeamTech
2280 Valley Blvd.
Pomona, CA 91768

I'll be going int their office next week to see why they aren't honoring their warranties. I live 20 minutes from there.

I hope all that changes soon; it's bs that a company should have such horrible service, no matter how good their products are.

Anyway, I think I will go with the sunbeam, thanks everyone.

Oh and feel free to report back on how that goes. :D
