I know my undvervolted Celeron 420 uses about 10 more watts under load than at idle, measured at the plug. Since it is powered solely off the 12volt line, that's less than one amp after the efficiency of the PSU is taken into consideration. Given VRM losses, it's probably 6-7 watts of real increased power consumption under load. Whole rig idles at 40 watts with the hard drive on standby. 47 watts hard drive on. While gaming using IGP I'll see up to 60 watts consumed.

so i think whats stopping me is my psu..cus my pc crashes alot..doesnt restart..it just crashes while playing any game..my screen freezes and sound loops and wen i get to the desktop i put the cursor over an icon and it becomes red/pinkish vertical lines..i dont know why..

my cpu is a 23c and my gpu is at 46c

yea i know..but is unlocked to x4..and uhm..i just did some experimenting and did 11.5x300 and upped my voltage to 1.472..and played gta4 for like 15minutes without a crash..maybe my cpu needed more juice..
