Hi all,

When I had the original wow and TBC expac I ran wow at 210 frames with my settings at max.

Now with the new expac wotlk, my 4850 runs WoW at 20 frames with all details maxed.

I do all my fps tests in the same area. My PCI 2.0 slot is running 16x. My card is still at stock speeds.

The only difference is that I am running Vista 64 bit, when I was running XP 64 bit in the past. I have 4 gigs of DDR 8500 running 4-4-4-12 timings.

Is the problem my card? or is vista causing the problems? I was told that the new expac has increased graphics requirements but 210 to 20 frames seems extreme.

To go back to XP means losing 1gig of my RAM, is it worth it?

Thanks!
