HDD Not Recognized???!@!!

Hey guys let me give you a brief scenario.
I do graphic design and just ran out of HDD space. So I went and picked up a sata 1.5TB seagate model# St315005N1A1AS-RK.

Anyway I plus the drive in, and turn on my computer. Vista 64 SEES the drive and installs it so it is viewable in Device Manager. But other than seeing it in Device Manager, it is NOWHERE.
I need to finish a job for a client and this is killing me spending hours with this instead of working...please help!!!

Complete Specs:

Antec 650w Earthpower
Asus X38 P5E <GREEN>
1x4870
1WD raptor
1WD 250gb Sata drive
1 sata optical drive


I've went to Asus' website, updated all my mobo drivers; and all other drivers in my computer are up to date.

Again, I can see the drive in DeviceManager, but NO where else!!!!

Tried jumpers to get it to run in Sata1 (1.5gps) even though Im positive my mobo supports SataII and it still does not recognize the HDD anywhere except device manager.
Please Help!

open the Control Panel, Switch to Classic View, click on Administrative Tools, click on Computer Management, click on Disk Management.

initialize and format.

Might have to make a partition on there too after initialising it.

During initialization it asks what size partition you want then asks to format.

It's a SATA drive, they don't do the whole primary-slave thing.
