Hello everyone and thanx one more time for helping me out on this issue.
I finally updated my rig yesterday after 12 hours of installations and all of that stuff and ran the 3dmark06 test and my results were scary and dissapoining as well. Here is my new rig setup:

ASUS STRIKER II NSE BOARD, INTEL Q6600 QUAD 2.4 OC TO 3.0GHZ, 8 GB RAM CORSAIR XMS3 DDR3 1333, 2 EVGA GTX 260 BOTH RUNNING AT 16X, ANTEC 850 MODULAR SIGNATURE PSU, THERMALTAKE KANDALF LCS CASE, ALL WATER COOLED EXCEPT THE VIDEO CARDS, WINDOWS ULTIMATE 64 BIT

my results were only 15234 on the 3dmark06 test, my friend has almost the same setup but with a different board and he's getting no less than 25000 on the same test which is rediculous.

The worst thing is that my previous rig was an asus p5k-e board, same cpu,8gb ddr2 patriot ram, and 2 ati radeon 3870 and was getting 17000 on the test!! and my board only did 16x on one card and 8x on the second card.

Could someone please help me dicide what could be wrong or wheter I should get the evga 280 instead? I appreciate your comments and help, thanx

couple thoughts...

OC your Proc more 3.4-3.6 is 'usually' easy with a g0 stepping Q6600 but even B3's aren't horrid. Dont be too scared as long as load temps are under 70c 'ish'. Up that voltage to 1.4-1.5 then back down to low as you can go and stay stable.

2nd did you OC your 260's? Did you get the 216 core versions? If you haven't get the core/mem clocks as high as you can without your compy freezing or showing artifacts in games/tests.
