My friends computer crashed on him awhile back and we figured out that his mobo died for whatever reason. Well he decided to start fresh and just gave me all the old parts. So laying around is:

Radeon 1900 XTX
2 gig sticks of memory (corsair xms 3200 1024mb 400mhz)
Opteron cpu w/fan (# OSA170DAA6CD)
500w PSU.

We tested the video card and know it works, and I know the previous mobo was Socket 939.

I need recommendations on a new mobo that's compatible with the stuff I already have, and a cheap case to throw it all in. I'll probably just pull an extra HD out of another comp in the house unless there is something dirt cheap online. I plan to run XP on it. Any suggestions/recommendations?

I'd go for a 939 foxconn motherboard from computer geeks. They had 4 different models recently for $19.95 each.
