Hello, ASUS m4a89gtdpro usb3 & windows xp pro bluescreen problems. I have tried flashing the chipset, etc. I keep getting this message: IRQL-NOT-LESS-OR-EQUAL STOP: 0x0000000A(0x00000010,0x00000002,0x00000000,0x80515A86) I am building a PC: PSU CoolerMaster 500 watts AM3MD Phenom II X6 1075T RAM Corsair XMS3 DDR3 Dual Channel 1333MHz Motherboard ASUS M4A89GTD PRO USB3

how about memory...Asus mb can have issues if you put 4 gigs of memory...try taking out a stick of memory and see if it starts..if it does then you have to go into bios and work on some memory settings. If it works get back with me and I will guide you thru the 4 memory issue.
I am just trying to trouble shoot..as I am not certain of several things...but this is just a start recommendation.

I tried 2 gigs of memory and and still got the same message IRQL...

Looking at another option: I just bought Windows 7 Pro and was thinking of installing it instead of XP Pro, and see if this loads. How do I uninstall XP Pro (the part that got set up) so I can cleanly start with Windows 7? But I hesitate to use Windows 7 because I am afraid some of my old programs that I need may not run...

I would appreciate advice on both XP Pro and WIndows 7. Thanks.
