Hey all,

I was looking into getting a 4870 and using a swiftech waterblock on it, but instead have chosen to run CF 4830's. I have googled a little and looked at my normal watercooling sites and nobody seems ot have any waterblocks for a 4830.

Does anyone know or have a waterblock that works with the 4830 yet??

This was the waterblock i was going to use for a 4870.
4870 WB

Thanks

Nobody know? This just doesn't seem to be good.

Seems to me the 4830 and 4850 share a common PCB and compontent layout, so what works for the 4850 should work on the 4830.
Check here:

Click on the other reviews box and look for both card types. On the third page of each review is a high rez photo of each PCB without its HSF.
I`ve done this and, to my eyes, they look identical.

why the hell do u need a waterblock for it ?

The cost of the waterblock would make you buy an 4870 which is way faster :D
