I just have a quick question that I am not sure on. I built a new computer a couple months ago and maybe looking into getting another graphics card by the end of the year. I know that my board is only 2-way SLI capable according to MSI but it has 3 PCI-E slots. So my question is, can I run 2-way SLI with the third slot as a Physx GPU? I would be running 2 1gb EVGA GTS 250's and probably at least a 9600gt for the Physx card. I know that I will have to upgrade my power supply when I do the upgrade. Any info would be awsome on this would be great!
Thanks!
Here is my complete PC specs:
Operating System: Windows XP 32bit with SP3
Motherboard: MSI P7N SLI Platinum
Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo e7400
Video Card: 1gb EVGA Geforce GTS 250
Memory: 4gb G.Skill DDR2 pc6400
Sound Card: VIA Envy24 HF
Hard Drive: 80gb/500gb(x2) Western Digital IDE
Power Supply: Thermaltake 450watt TR2 RX Cable Management W0146RU
Any info on this guys? I did get a new PSU today, same line of Thermaltake PSU just 850watt instead of 450watt. Friend got a 8800gtx off another friend and needed a better PSU. Mine seems to work really good for him and that way I figured I would get the PSU out of the way!
Thanks!
