Intel Q9550 HP Workstation xw4600

Hi every1, I dont know where to ask the question because it is related to all components,

I got a deal on an HP Workstation xw4600 Q9550 computer but the bios is flashed by HP and therefore, thers no OC option, I dont even see them. The Memory is ECC.

- Is there a way to flash it to the original Bios or a way to OC? , I am sure it is an intel X38 with ECC memory.

- Will the Q9550 bottleneck a 4870 or a 4870 X2 (in the future ) @ 2.83Ghz?

- I have the option to disable ECC, is that better?

Not really at higher resolutions. Think above 1680x1050

Prolly. But not by much. Maybe not even noticeable. I think that option is only for installing Non ECC memory.

Well if the bios cant be flashed, is there a program that will OC in windows? I cant get clockgen to dettect the FSB.
