X3 720 in a nforce 750a motherboard

Can anybody tell me if the xfx nforce 750a motherboard will work with the 720 cpu. Xfx website does not list it as one of the cpu's for this board. I'm not sure if it will support Am3. I've contacted xfx but have not heard anything back but compusa said it would work fine. If anybody out there could give some peace of mind before I order it I would be grateful. Thanks

Check the board manufacturers website for BIOS updates to support that CPU.
