It seems I have purchased brand new PC that cannot be upgraded... limited by it's tiny 250 watt PSU and motherboard... a Napa GL8E.

HP Pavilion a6710t 64 Bit Intel Pent Dual Core E5300 2.6 GHz 4GB RAM and the highly, ambiguous, mystery 256MB NVidia GeForce 9300?? graphics card.

It was not until I had already purchased this PC that I noticed this PSU...
Never in my dreams did I think that this would be the situation!

So please... am I screwed? Do I have any options for upgrading at all?
Can this mobo handle a greater PSU so that I can upgrade my graphics card?

Thanks...

I would say that you could definitely upgrade your PSU with no problem whatsoever, as long as it has the right connectors (24 pin vs 20 pin). When my mom bought a Dell inspiron (grumble grumble grumble) I quickly tossed the stock 300watt psu and threw in a 600 watt. After this it supported a new graphics card with no problem at all.

Thank you Kenshin, So you think that this Napa GL8E motherboard is capable of handling 400 watts or so... enough to handle at least a HD2600?
