Only for paying for items on online auctions. If you want to do anything useful (sell items) you have to get a dealer-type account from paypal. And you have to pay a percentage to them. I'd look elsewhere, only used them becuase they gave free money and usage when they started.
I used it a couple of times for E-bay auctions. It was great. Don't know if they still give you credits but I ended up getting about 20$ in credit for referals from them.
Let me tell you,one very important advantage of PayPal from many good things about it.
"Customer never need to let seller know about his/her credit card number".
You know want to give your credit cards # to totally stranger. You don't know who do you talking to. Most of time, you are buying from a store,or guy you never seen before. BAD!!!!!!!!!!
I never give my #. No way ~!
So, Paypal is excellent way to pay,and receive money!
They do have one major flaw in there billing that most people won't catch without online banking. If you use a debit card as a credit card, paypal will double charge you the amount then credit you back once two-three days later. In the interim, you no longer have access to those funds.
Wow! I should have come to this section (computer shops) a long time ago. Its full of memories and suprises. Hey, remember when Bubba was just a mild-mannered member? And remember the infamous DRPC? Amazingly enough, his spamming on this thread would actually be convincing, provided that you could wade through all the poor grammer and still understand what he was talking about. He must have worked for a company that paid him to mindlessly spam in behalf of other companies that paid them to. Interesting.
