PPPOE trouble

Ok, what I am trying to do is have my DSL connection active at all times, or close to it.

1) I am currently using Enternet to connect, which will occasionally drop the connection. There is an option in the settings for "Persistent Connections". Apparently, this is supposed to make the application re-connect if the connection is dropped. It stops trying to reconnect at the maximum time of 60 seconds, which is not enough.
2) I've used WinPOET to connect, it never dropped my connection. However, the version I was using was not meant for Win2K, and it would cause the operating system to crash at random times. Apparently there is a newer version of WinPOET, designed for Win 2000 but I have no idea where to get it.

3) I've used RASPPPOE to connect, and it dropped the connections a LOT! However, at least it would always re-connect right away.

What I would like to do is:
a) find a way to make Enternet reconnect after the connection is dropped; or
b) find the new version of WinPOET (2.0); or
c) find a way to make RASPPPOE connections more stable

Any ideas?? Thanks in advance!

Um, maybe this is a silly reply, but:

Or are you not looking for a legitimate version? If so ... good luck!
