hello again, so i decided to go with evga 790i ftw sli picked up some corsair xms3 mem CM3x2G1600C9DHX find out not supported by this board but on there forums they said i would have to manually set the v and timings any thoughts :heink:

You should be able to lower the memory voltage from the BIOS. I think by default it is at 1.9v.

You should load up 1 memory stick, see if you can boot into the BIOS, then adjust it to the rated spec. You can keep timings on auto, until your done with your build. Once you have a stable system, then go back to your BIOS and adjust your timings.
