5770 512mb vs 5750 1gb

Hey guys,
Im really broke.... But im buying a graphis card within the next month... So ok here goes
I do not have the $20 for the 5770 1gb so do not tell me to buy it... The 5770 512mb is $5 more than the 5750 1gb, so what is better for gaming at 1680x1050? The 5770 kills the 5750 in all benches but those are the 1gb models.... My opinion is the 5770 512mb is better even tho the 5750 has 1gb of ram.... What do you guys think?
Thanks! :D

it all really depends on what resolution you play games at, you will definitely want a 1GB video card if gaming at 1920 x 1080 or above, but i am not sure if it will warrant getting the 5750 1GB over the 5770 512mb as the 5770 is more powerful. If i had to guess, i would say that the 5770 512 would be the better choice than the 5750 1GB

list the following and i will see if i can help you.

    resolution you play games at
exact amount you have to spend on a video card

Thanks for the help so far! Um well my monitor goes up to 1920x1080 but i dont game at that res.... my old 9600gso 384mb ram could actualy play lots of games (even modern games 09+) at 1920x1080 and like i said it had 384mb.... I would like to play games at 1680x1050, but since i really want the 5770 512mb, i guess i could do 1440x900 with 4aa.... but do you think i could play modern games at 1680x1050 with the 5770 512mb?
    Thanks :)
