Since I have installed my card my computer recognized 3.25 GB of RAM not 3.5 GB like it used to (I have 4 sticks of 1 GB). Anyone know why? Would that be a big problem?
When I installed it, I also installed folding@home. What is that? Does that help my GPU's performance? Is it needed if all I do is game?
Should I get the drivers from the MSI website or the ATI website? (The ATI one seems to work alright so far)
My GPU's temputure stays around 48-49C. Is that alright?
My guess why your system RAM dropped is because your old video hard 256MB of RAM on it and the 4670 has 512MB of RAM.
32-bit operating systems have limited number of "addresses" used for accessing RAM (of any type). 64-bit OS like Windows Vista 64-bit can address more amounts of RAM (8GB or 16GB, not exactly sure at the moment).
