Detecting usb stick with windows 7

Hello,

When connecting my usb stick, the control panel displays it as a mouse. My OS is Windows 7.

Any ideas why I am having this problem and what I can do to solve it?

That is a bit strange to say the least. I guess the computer isn't ID'ing it right for some odd reason. You could try to update the chipset via the computer manufacturer's support site, which in turn will reset/update the usb controllers. In theory, that could solve the issue. If not, it maybe an issue with the flash drive itself. Does it work on other computers?
