WD1002FAEX vs SSd + older drive?

I am currently using a Hitachi 320GB drive, and am upgrading my system.

I only have a bout $100-120 to spend on a hard drive.

My options are to buy a small SSD, like a 32GB or maybe a 40GB Intel one for my boot and use my older HD for Data.
Or I can by the WD1002FAEX and use that as an overall drive.
