How to increase c drive space in xp pro

Hello,
i have a HP compaq n9040 laptop with 40 gb hard disk and 512mb ram. there are two partition of c.drive 12.5gb and D drive 25 gb. i would like to increase the size of c drive t 20GB and reduce the size of d drive to 17.5Gb is this possible

Make sure you have backups of your data before messing with your partitions!
