Hey Everyone;
I've been fiddling around with the ATI Catalyst Control Center and Hydravision and i haven't been able to really find anything that answers my question.
I have 2 radeon 4870s operating in crossfire, and i have a 30" dell monitor running in 2560x1600, as well as a 20" Dell monitor running in 1200x1600 (rotated on its side). With my nvidia card at work i can have both monitors treated as a single desktop which is what i want to do at home as well. So basically, all it should think is that its a single desktop with a resolution of 3270x1600 but i can't find any options in the CCC or Hydravision to do this. With nvidia is was simple with nview. Is there anything built into the CCC that would allow me to do this? Or am i relegated to simply tricking my system into thinking it has features that it should already have anyways with 3rd party software?

3rd Party would be the way to go for that particular feature, it would seem.

Are you running both monitors off one 4870 or one monitor off each card? I dont know if that realy mattersbut that could be an important piece of information.

Right now im running two 1680x1050 monitors off a 4870 and I havent had any problems.

The screen that would best help you is the Desktop Properties in CCC Advanced. From there you can select a screen form the dropdown bar and select a resolution and rotation.
